Sahasrara - The Balancing Act

Now that you know you want to activate and balance Sahasrara, theCrown Chakra, what can you do?

To truly open and activate Sahasrara all the ground work must be laid. It’s critical to balance your lower six chakras to experience the most effective opening of the Crown Chakra. After preparing to work on Sahasrara meditation is the most effective means to open the chakra. Visualize a spinning disc of ethereal white light at the top of your head. It may be hovering just over your head lightly touching your crown. Focus on a smooth rotation of the glowing disc and feel your chakra opening to connect with the Universe’s streaming White Light. It is a vibrant, clear and healing light.

Crystal therapy is extremely helpful in activating Sahasrara. Amethyst and clear quartz crystals are very powerful in opening the Crown Chakra. Meditating with these crystals in your sacred space will amplify your efforts. Wearing a favorite piece of jewelry made of Amethyst will help to tune your Sahasrara throughout the day.
Aromatherapy couples nicely and amplifies the meditation efforts. Diffusing frankincense, cedarwood and sandalwood essential oils during meditation will assist with a deeper connection with the Divine and encourage a higher consciousness. End your day with a relaxing bath with rose and lavender bath salts or essential oils to incorporate spirituality into your everyday life.  This is a perfect opportunity to reflect upon your day and once again connect with the Divine.

And here's an Etsy treasury featuring a few Brow Chakra balancing favorites ranging from personal care and aromatherapy items to home decor.
